Evangelist Ukina Sanford-Foster, a San Francisco native, holds both Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees in Biology from San Francisco State University and works as a Senior Biomedical Research Scientist at UCSF.  Evangelist Foster was raised in the church since birth and made a serious commitment to Christ at the age of 22.  She accepted her call to ministry in 2001 under the leadership of Superintendent LeVon Bell and was licensed as an Evangelist after training and examination in the Nor Cal Metropolitan Ecclesiastical Jurisdiction under the leadership of Bishop Jerry Wayne Macklin.

Over the years, she has held numerous leadership roles in ministry, such as serving as the former First Lady of the Historical First Union Missionary Baptist Church in San Francisco, licensed Associate Minister, Dean of Christian Education, praise and worship leader, and teacher for Bible study and Sunday school.

In 2021, the Lord saw fit to divinely join Evangelist Ukina with Pastor Richard Foster. Both Pastor and Evangelist Foster understand marriage, having several years of experience between them after suffering great loss through the passing of their late spouses. The Fosters have six adult children and four grandchildren. The Fosters created "The Foster Chronicles" to display the joy of marriage by maintaining a good balance both naturally and spiritually.

Currently, Evangelist Ukina Foster serves as a Bible study teacher, works in the Education Department, and is the Women’s Department President at the Lily of the Valley Christian Center in Oakland, CA, under the leadership of Senior Pastor Bishop Anthony Willis. In 2023, in obedience to God, Evangelist Foster established Impactful Outreach Ministry Inc., a nonprofit organization whose mission centers on impactful, reach, resources, results, and reciprocation.

Evangelist Foster is well-known and highly respected across various denominations. Her calling has enabled her to proclaim the Word of God in churches throughout the Bay Area and beyond. Evangelist Ukina Sanford-Foster shares biblical insights at numerous ministries and speaks into the lives of people of all ages and backgrounds.
